UCA Bushing/Installation Tips?

I've had the front suspension torn apart for a while now, finally ready to start re-assembly  ;)  I went with the Moog offset UCA bushings, #K7103.  I think I remember seeing something about installing these differently than the instructions say, but can't seem to find the comment now.  They say to point the arrows (molded into the rubber) towards the ball joint.  If this isn't the way to do it, what is?

Also, have you guys had better luck installing/torquing the UCA ball joints down after the arms are re-installed on the car, or do it on a bench?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You want to install them with the front bushing arrow pointing out and the rear bushing arrow pointing in in order to get a more positive caster.
