Any good 68 Charger reference sites?

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of collecting good, high resolution, high quality photos of undercarriages, engine compartments (with 440s) , etc for my upcoming restoration of my friend's 68 Charger R/T.  Any special sites out there that may have those?  I know his car will probably tell me all I need to know as far as markings and such, but some nice high-res stuff would be good to have.  It's helped me with my Road Runner.

I can't remember if I posted this or not (I know I did on moparts), but I just started my little resto side business and I'm pretty excited.  I already got an email from another guy who wants some rust repair work done to his 68 Road Runner too! :2thumbs:  Only advertising I've done so far is on a page on the cardomain site of the Road Runner.   I'll have a shop website setup soon and will post it when I get it online.

Thanks for the links to any pics.

Cheers

Nothing specific to 68. There's been talk for years about someone starting a 1968 Charger Registry but it just won't fly for some reason.

Patience. It is coming.... At least that is what I heard. Well, that is what I believe. Can't give a reason, mind you, but it will get here. Someday. Well, soon. Very soon. Sooner than later, I think....  :P

P.S. Did I say soon?   :scratchchin:

If I can get to Brock I can get to you too, Eldon!  :nana:  Oromotco may be a little farther north but gas is now under $4/gal, so....  Please show a little respect to the one that really started it all.    :slap:

A little too general (and not Lee  :icon_smile_cool:). I meant the 2nd Gens. A little obvious, but even the 2nd Gens had to start somewhere....  :icon_smile_wink:

And lets keep on topic, shall we?  :D

Sure did. It's the only year they made the good looking ones!

God must love stupid people; He made so many.

We could tell you but then we would have to kill you.

I've heard talk about it as well, but nothing. I'll look into it and see if we can get something going on this.

I had always wondered why there wasnt a 1968 Charger Registry. Not just a list of Vins, but with actual info like the '69 and '70 registries. They really helped me learn about Chargers when I first got into them.

Quite a few, actually. Chrysler had to increase production by 500% from the year before and although the production numbers tapered off due to the odd changes made in '69 and '70 :D, the company kept the body style the same because that portion of it was very popular. :2thumbs:
