Well, it appears the car is an A/C car with 4 speed, but #'s on engine block do not match. :rotz:

here are a few more pics, any guesstimates on a fair value?

If you offer the person 10K, don`t be surprised if that person laughs in your face then tells you to beat it...

Six lines of codes is not unusual for a 72 STL built car. :Twocents:
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

My 72 SE tag is full - but doesn't have a 4sp or bulge hood.  The car looks like a survivor - but....

I have to wonder if the rear bumper (which is clearly made for bumper guards) is original or if
it's the rear valence that is correct for the car :scratchchin:  Somethin just isn't lining up there.

It's a strait driver with hotrodded parts.  It needs a vinyl top & alot of touchup paint (anyone
notice the right quarter just below the vinyl roof?)  I'd pay up to 10K for it myself & call it a fair
deal:  If it can deliver performance wise.  You know...A healthy / consistant start, shift & stop!

Daytona R/T SE

I like the car, I really do, but that red trim on the dash, dune buggy add-on gauge cluster, accel monster coil and that gigantic chrome aircleaner would all have to go back on the '82 IROC in the trailer park it came off of  :eek2:

Then put the original parts back on, re-install the A/C and you'd really have something :2thumbs:

The rear valance is a 73/74 style :Twocents:

Oh...MAN IS THAT THING GREEN OR WHAT?  :eek2:

defiance

That is in great looking shape, but not what I'd call a survivor.  Too much aftermarket and redone.  Engine bay is pretty ok, interior is nice, trunk has some wear but no "problems", bulge hood and hideaway headlights are a bonus,  exterior is good but far from perfect...  and the vynil top looks SCARY...  Keep in mind vynil hides a WHOLE LOT of trouble, so by the time you start seeing it get lumpy, it's probably pretty bad under there...

I'd guess if he sold this on the open market he'd get 8,500-11,500 for it.  Just a guess.  3rd gens aren't really a high-desire car...  I love them, but I can't drive the market by myself :)

Nacho-RT74

Nice car but on a quick over view ( I'm really sleepy right now ) some suff is weird.

is an A/C car definitelly. You can tell by the firewall, but where is the compresor ?

and something weird about the radiator... top hose is on driver side and should it be on passenger side

of course, as stated the rear valence is 73/74.

damn I'll go to sleep!!! anything else will check tomorrow

Cool car, except maybe the greeeeeen. Might look better with the original white top.

The valance has been changed but there was one at one time - its coded for dual w/tips. Power bulge is added.

I don't think 10k is unreasonable.

As a 3rd gen guy, $10,000 isn't a bad offer. I would actually go less than that. I personally love green cars, buy remember, most people don't and the are hard to resell. If you looking to resell, don't go too high, if you truly like it for yourself, go for it!

i asked how much he wanted for it and he just said, "make me an offer I cant refuse" so I want to start fair, not too low, not too high. I was thinking around 10k.

"make me an offer I cant refuse" ... he's probably not going to like any fair offer. Non numbers and it's rough around the edges, not to mention every thing is eather dyed or painted a different shade of green    :eek2:  . I think 10k is a 1000 or 2 more than fair , but I don't care for 72 se's or green .

I like that Charger. Really cool. Let us know if you get it. Hope ya' do. :2thumbs:

Bulge hood was never available on SE.  Otherwise that's a correct, very rare and nice piece!. Also, it had a white top.  :icon_smile_wink:  The tach and tips are COOL.
