Went racing yesterday... pics of fellow moparians

took the yellow charger out... ran alright, but definitely need a new converter to get lower 60 ft and into the 8's in the 1/8th mile.   Best run was 9.22 (which equates to about a 14.3 or 14.4 in the quarter).

The best part, I believe, was the fact that when I was done I took the slicks off and put on the street tires and drove it 50 miles home.  Nowadays, you do not see that too much, at least where I race/am from.

73 dodge challenger (runs 8.05 in the 1/8th, he too, drove 50 miles to the strip, good friend from topeka)



70 Coronet 500 cloned to a superbee (power window and lock car)



70 challenger w/440 runs 7.97



67 dodge coronet with 383 and the 440 source stealth heads ran 8.07 dial [side note: he broke... on his #2 cylinder, his intake lock removed itself, causing his retainer to fly off and his valve to get bent]  needless to say, we pushed him on the trailer and he will be calling 440 source (this should cause some discussion eh?)



mopar alley (the blue fury is a 496 stroked 440 with victor heads and runs 7.27 dial, the 68 green GTX runs a 7.46 dial (his build is in the performance section), .... Green GTX won pro sportsman and put 3 RAIL CARS ON THE TRAILER!!! to include the final match.. it was awesome!!!
