Shifter to Trans linkage for

Anybody got a picture of how the shifter is connected to the trans on a 1968 727 with a 440?  Under the car I can see where the shifter comes down and there is a rod with two pins that is supposed to connect it to the trans.  Which way does the rod go? I attempted to hook the rod up but when I shift the gears on the shifter the bar that connects to that rod just bends back and forth.  Maybe I have that rod with the pins upside down?  Anybody got a picture to clarify for me?

It appears that I am missing the part in the diagram bracket 19-48-46.  Anybody know where I can get one.  This explains why it just shifts back and fourth because it has nothing supporting it at the bottom.  This looks to be an easy fix assuming I get the part.  Thanks for the diagram.
