Are 68-70 battery cables the same as 73-74 cables?  I need a new positive cable, and the 71-72 cable looks like the starter relay was closer to the battery.  What will work for me?

Thanks!
Paul

The problem is, I don't want to spend $158 on a cables from Atlas Obsolete.  The 73/74 that I saw said it was also 68-70, the reason for my question.

the problem is the pos cable is so close to the exhaust pipe - i don't know if that insulation will hold up - is there something else that can be put there to protect the cable??

there are clips what holds the wires againts the inner fender

i have one big clip that screws into the fender.  it really doesn't keep the cable far from the exhaust pipe.
