I have only ever tried 1 kind of muffler on mine. Its a built 440 with a full 3'' mandrel bent tubing with an x-pipe and I am running flowmaster 40 series  deltaflows. Honestly I like the sound they probably are constrictive but it sounds cool.

Constrictive, key word.... You want dynomax ultraflow
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Thats an oxymoron. You said best and flowbastard in the same sentance. 2 1/2 inch Flowbastards flow 395 CFM per muffler. 2 1/2 inch Dynomax Race Magnums flow 1100 CFM. What would you get? Also, Flowbastards are tinny sounding. Dynomax are deep. Run an "X" pipe and you will have no cabin harmonics while having all the sound out the back. You will never drive your "daily" driver again.     What can I say. I'm in the beer mood.
If it ain't wide open; it ain't running.        Rule number one in motocross racing: Pin it; row the gear box; and wait until you hit something.     At work my motto is: If you need me, call someone else.

Oh yeah, the Race Magnum mufflers are now called the "Ultra Flow." Good stuff.

Flowmasters are made for their signature sound first, and power levels second.

I fitted the Summit 3 inch system with the fully welded mufflers, pretty sure the mufflers are Flowtech Afterburners. It was very loud and I wasn't keen on the sound so I changed them for Flowmaster 40 delta flows. I picked up 2 tenths in the 1/4 despite what people say about them being restrictive. I later fitted an H-pipe and it toned it down a little and got rid of a slight rasping just off idle, love the sound now.
