trying to find out how many will need a new set and see if we can somehow get a vendor to make them.  the hardest part is finding a clean set to give the vendor to make from!

I'd love to have a set...possibly 2 if the price is right.

I need a set bad.  I will pay good money for a set if they look right.

i believe he said they would be around $188 a set but he would need to sell at least 600 sets  :2thumbs:

how many drivable 73/74 chargers are around?  And of them how many are restored to the point people are in need of bumper fillers?

188 bucks is very fair in price.  I just worry about getting 600 people together for what woud be the worlds largest group buy I have seen.

really..., they made over 100,000 1973 chargers you don't think there are 600 left that need these  :shruggy:

I don't think there are 600 73/74's restored or being restored at the moment.  And of the ones that are being worked on, I don't know how many realize how hard it is to find the fillers.  I'll buy a set or 2 if they can get produced.

Well, im just saying.   If 600 people are all looking hot and heavy right now for fillers then we would see more user activity on the 3rd gen site and more 3rd gen activity on this site as well I would guess.

I know market is based on how many people want a product...but seriously these fillers are needed for us 3rd gens.  And especially at $188 for all 6 pieces of filler, I'd be extremely pleased.

I've been hearing "Oh, they are coming" for a very long time... I just wish they would finally get repopped for us to snatch them! :P

I am with you on that.  Its pretty much the missing part of my puzzle now for a while.  I want them bad.

I bet if the guy making them would just contact Year One for a contract he would get his 600 alot faster but they will take a bite out of his profit.  I know year one sells lots of stuff for Legendary Auto Interiors.  Im sure they would love to help sell a product that on one offers.

he is not making them yet. he has contacted a compay to make the molds, and as i understand it to break even on the cost would have to make a minimum order of 600 sets or 50 per month for a year as he put it.

I need a front set at least. Haven't got my rears off yet, but they look ok. I've got useable fronts except for the middle piece which is what gets messed up most. I'd take a set or two.
