Hey, so has anyone ever converted a charger that currently has no vinyl top to a vinyl top car before? I need some advice on marking and drilling the holes for the check moldings.
    Thanks

Never done it ,but here's my advice.
Make a template from the moulding out of cardstock or heavy paper. With this you can adjust it on the car to get everything lined up.

If I was in yuor shoes, I don't think I would even drill those holes at all.  I'd grind off the mounting studs from the back of the check-pieces and use some kind of modern adhesive to attach all the pieces instead.  (The check-pieces are being repro'd now.)

Those holes are notorious sources of water getting into the trunk even when everything is done correctly.

That is my plan when I change my quarters. I will just use trim tape or adhesive on them.
