went to fit my new springs yesterday, part numbers p3600455(lh)and part number p3600454(rh)with front hanger p4120079.
lh side fitted as it should, when i came to fit the right side its as though the spring is nt long enough to fit the rear shackle/hanger,do you need a different rear hanger?
is there something i m missing or that i m doing wrong??
the eye of the right hand spring is catching on the trunk floor outrigger, making it UNPOSSIBLE to fit the rear shackle :flame:
are the front hangers sided or different lengths?
cheers

Try bolting the rear up first.  Connect the front hanger to the leaf.  Lift the front up into the front attach point.  Leave the bolts through the spring eyes loose until the car is on the ground.

I still have problems from time to time with my right side spring, especially if you jack the car up back there, the spring will actually pull the shackle forward so that the spring is resting on the frame!  :o  I have to take a large screwdriver and flip the shackle backwards, back into position before letting the car back down.  :shruggy:

Did you check your pinion angle after the swap?

I was told you should always check the pinion angle after a leaf spring swap.
