New Converter???

Thinking about a new converter, but what should I buy?

I think I have the original converter to my 727 tranny.

Heard that is good to get a stallspeed at 2000?

Im using my car for street driving but I still want the car to go faster and quicker when accelerating.

What should I get or my stock good enough???

727 tranny, 3,54 gears, 8 3/4. 440 (mild) (69 charger)

I'd look for a higher stall if I were you. 2300-2500?

The factory stall speed spec for a stock '69 440-4 is 2000-2300. The '69 440 had a 12" converter, changing to any 11" converter (even factory stock) would get you in the 2500 range with good driveability.
