PTO shafts will do bad things to you. Wrap a leg or arm up. Augers are no good either. I am surprised he was that close to a spinning shaft to get caught up with the hair..

Sorry but no sympathy from me, he was a dumba$$ for having long hair and not keeping it pulled back and tucked out of the way.

Exactly, the job was obviously dangerous and his hair SHOULD of been tied back.

I worked on Bell Helicopters for many years.
I can't imagine the circumstances that would dictate being anywhere near any rotating component whist it's in motion.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
