Hello everybody, I'm kinda new to this place. About two weeks ago I bought a 68 Dodge charger 440 at ac car. It had been sitting a while and from what I have found since I got it sombody wasn;t very good at fixing things.  Anyway, I need to know what the gap is for the points and what the timming should be.  I have put new wires, plugs in, and had the carb rebuilt.       Any help would be great.       ::)

Factory specs are:  0.017" point gap / 30 degrees dwell / timing at 5 degrees before TDC with the vacuum advance disconnected.   This is a good starting point, but you might want to advance the spark to 10 degrees, if your engine doesn't ping under load.
