You mean this one???

If so, that is Chris's 69 R/T.  It's mounted on the rear of the engine via the valley pan hold down bolts and a custom made bracket.

thats the one do you remember how it was attached

BlueSS454

There is a bracket that is bolted to the back of the block where the hold down bar for the valley pan gasket is.  The ECU is bolted to the bracket.  It's a pretty cool setup.  I asked Chris about that before and he said he hasn't had any problems with heat with it as of yet.

hmmm, maybe he used the ECU bracket? thankx for the info and pic gives me another idea on where to put mine other than on the firewall.

Charger-Bodie

I think Chris got the bracket from FBO.  :scratchchin:

hey one other question about that ECU bracket does the stock oil sender unit still fit on the engine? in other words does the ECU bracket block the oil sender? :popcrn:

This looks like Doug's car.  Anyone know what he ran?  That right there makes a person all warm and fuzzy.  Out there beating on a real Hemi car.

The bracket fits with NO modifications at all....you just have to make sure your harness will reach the new location.  It fits with the stock oil sender.  I also have an aftermarket sender in the other oil port for an aftermarket electric gauge as well....just in case
