how early do you guys get a parking spot at chrysler at carlisle??

hi. just wondering how early some of you get to chrysler at carlisle to get a parking spot? thanks guys!! :cheers: :cheers:

I usually roll in around 10-10:30. Try getting there when the gates open and you'll sit in traffic for a while. :D

I usually leave here at around 3 in the morning and get there before 8 with a stop at mickey d's.

how early can you park in the area in front of the main entrance? ive been there before and every year never leave till later than i planned and have a night mare finding parking. i was thinking of leaving around  10 on thrs. night get there around 3 in the morning. will they let you park that early?

From what I read gate 3 (the show car gate) is open 24 hours.  See the link below.  I  assume "proper credentials" means you are registered to for the event.  You might want to contact them and make sure.   :shruggy:

Hey there are pretty good perks to having a press pass too. ;) Come and go as you please, and get access to just about everywhere you want to go. Too bad won't have one this year.

I would say that depends on who is taking the money for that lot.  Is it privately owned (like most of them as they are peoples yards) or is it owned by the Fairgrounds?  I imagine for spectators most of the parking areas (lots or yards) would be open right around 7AM.

I usually get there about 7am on Sat morning. People are already parking in the yards all around the fairgrounds. So I'm guessing people are getting there around 6 am.
