wanted to know the fender profile so we took him over a 68 fender for him to reference. Cheers, Tim.

That '68 fender shape isn't even close to the correct shape where the fender meets the nosecone.

If you need a reference for that area,You'll need either an original Daytona fender or a modified 1970 Charger fender.

Things coming along nicely, the roof is looking a million dollars compared to what it was. Body man says he's got plenty more to do before he'll let us have it back, which is good to hear. Really doing some amazing work resurrecting this thing.  Re-welded/leaded a couple of places around the plug where the lead wasn't happy. Nose cone is looking a million dollars in guide coat, looking as good on the inner as it does on the outer as does the roof skin. Glass fitting windows nicely as is windshield trim, tops of quarters also looking good. I had to shrink the photos right down because of the 200kb attatchment limit which is a shame but enjoy... Tim

Hello all, had some of the 60's American muscle car club drop in on Saturday just gone to inspect progress on the Daytona. An assortment of cars from some of the major players of the time including Aussie stuff and a certain white Cuda' which was owned by dad (and almost purchased by me) at one point. It has now been restored and looks fantastic! this being the second time I've seen it finished. Had my Challenger out which is something of a rarity lately. BBQ lunch and a few beers talking to people new and old; was a good day all in all.

Cheers, Tim.
