Just had the honor of joining this site. I have been a Mopar man all of my life. My first car was a 68 Charger with a 383 and I paid $35.00 in 1978 for it and the rest is history. I have had many B-Bodies over the years and still own a 66 Charger. I have had (2) 66 Chargers a 68 and a 70 also 71 Cuda, (3) 70 GTX's a 67 GTX Pro Street and (3) 69 Dart's. Look forward to spending some time on here sharing info, stories and helping others when I can. I am a current member of the 66/67 Charger site and BigBlockDart.com

It ran 6.39 in the 1/8th mile on 93 pumped gas and was never ran on a 1/4 mile track not enough motor with the 513 gear.  It was all original sheet metal except for the glass hood. I bought the car that way and it was a original #s matching 4-speed car before it was turned into a pro street. I really regret selling it was a blast to drive on the street and got a lot of attention at any show that I drove it to. It went to a police officer in Canada.

Your Coronet is beautiful with orginal paint WOW  :o Thank you it has been so hard not to put a big block in it. It is a great driving car that just floats down the road with descent gas mileage. I wanted to keep it the way it came off the assemble line. It is a 318 Poly .060 over, flat top piston with dual valve relief, moly rings, with custom solid lift cam, stock cast iron 4bbl intake, #1406 eddy. carb and dual exhaust. All of the internals for the motor came from Chris Nielson Cams in Utah except for the clevite bearings and the high volume oil pump and pickup.
