what do you think?

If you have no vision or creative spirit, you can always fall back on the way the factory did it.

TUFCAT

Once you blast that it'll be Swiss cheese underneath - especially in the front.  Your answer is NO.

ramit

UH OH....looks like he already bought it.   I agree with TUFCAT on this one, I don't think there will be much left of it after you try and get rid of all that rust.

konigcharger

yeah.. i figured WTH the worst that could happen i'm out $200 hell i could get 20 bucks for it scrap so we'll see, hopefully it won't be as bad as it looks

MAYBE the skin is not that bad like the frame and you can interchange the skin to your actually frame

I agree. Just take a regular hood that has a nice frame, and transfer it to the bulge hood. I would of bought it for that.

Those hoods go for crazy money.  Even if you decide not to fix it, I dont think you would have a problem selling it for at least what you have in it.

konigcharger

well i just went and picked it up. i wasn't expecting much hell i only paid 200 for it...

It was the best money i ever spent, this thing is SOLID!!!!! just surface rust! the holes for the hinges are good. the holes for the hood lip trim are better than the factory replacment hood i have on the car now. there is one good sized dent in  the top but wow is this thing better than i expected.

I have seen people make blank plates to fill in the hole.  That might be an option for you until you locate an insert.
