Old site question

I know I'm probably opening a can of worms here, but ....... what exactly happened to the old site, I was a casual member there as well keep hearing references about "remember what happened to the old site"
can anyone give me the "nutshell" version

Jesse had string of unfortuate personal problems. He resurfaced one about 6 months ago. Since then, I believe, no one has heard from him.

He did not come to the Kent, WA face-to-race meet, for the first time in several years.

I still wish him the best.

Maybe the title of that thread should be changed a little to add something about the demise of the old board.  It's kind of hand in hand with what happened to J.
