Be nice and give your buddy a ride home unless he is gonna sue you?

Tell your buddy they did him a favor & now's his chance to buy a MAN's car! ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Sorry to hear that.
I'm sure you've notified the police, but definitely insurance company time.  Hopefully he gets what the car is worth.
Most likely chopped by now unless it was stolen for a joy ride, but I doubt it in that part of the country.
If they do find the thieves and your friend has to go to court and happens to see the perps, have your buddy pull a Jack Ruby on them. :icon_smile_cool:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

A know a guy that had his scion stolen, worst part was they watched it drive by (only 10 feet or so away from them) before they realized it was his.
Guess thats a good reason to make your car distinct??

He ended up getting a new 350z paid for by insurance.

I think I would buy a security system for the Charger before it disappears too.

bull

I would thank the good Lord I didn't have to drive a Civic anymore and move on.

I love that line.   Better add it to Bulls post on the best taglines...

True, just thought it was kinda ironic ;) .

Well the Mercedes he's usin this weekend or any other retal is is hugly discounted thanks to the Insurance Co. 75%...
seems that after 14 days if the car isn't returned one way or found another... they go into another mode,.. to replace the civic..
I'm wondering if they go by NADA or Kelly's B.B.  :shruggy:
Say what you want about the Honda I tend to agree but he says it's not ever broken down in eight years and north of 200 K miles... for me there's not enuff room in any direction and it takes premium fuel but sure is easy to park.
I figgure it is a favorite of ricers and chop shops everywhere, the cops said that right away when told the make and model.
He's not too broken up about it as he was recently thinking of getting something newer but then again he's not a motor head either.

Dave22443

He had a Honda Civic with more than 200K miles on it?  Not bad.  Its been my experience that pretty much ANY car can go north of 200K with proper maintenance.  But any Civic with 200K plus miles is not going to be considered very valuable to the insurance companies.  He might get enough to make a down payment on something else.
