wtf is that, that is a charger... right?

... doesnt anyone find it weird that guys that are black would put a pseudo general lee recreation together?  maybe they have just foregone the whole confederate states of america implications, but I still find it curious.

the ying-yang twins are just plain stupid, saw them on mtv cribs one time, and thought they had brain damage.

Anyways, the interior arent that horrible, and the wheels are easily interchangeable.

The GL's appeal doesn't stop at the color barrier.  Neither does the affection for the confederate flag itself.  There are actually rappers who sport CF images.

As for the car, I might give it a second look.  Judging by the engine bay and the dashboard that might have been a pretty nice '68 before it was molested.  But the look will put off potential buyers.  The reserve price isn't even hit yet.

(Replacing the front buckets would be infuriating though.  You just KNOW  that car had $1500 worth of restored Charger seats before they were tossed in favor of the $400 seats in there now.)

TruckDriver

Well....................... All I will say is that the interiour is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy worse than the wheels in this case in my opinion. And I HATE dub wheels. :P

Look at the bright side, at least the car comes with a magazine!  :smilielol: :smilielol:

And, maybe if the reserve is met he'll throw in all those cleaning supplies on the deck lid.  :D

All in all, decals peel off, wheels are easily interchangeable, & so are seats & a steering wheel. This can be done in a weekend. Otherwise, it's probably a decent car.

I guess my question is(and mostly rhetorical)
Is the car worth $35k, or is it worth it because the ding dong twins owned it?
So now, is it worth it when you have to change the wheels, interior, instrument cluster, etc... and it's now more than $35k to get it where you want it.(not that we all haven't spent bundles getting our cars done the way we like them)

I couldn't tell if there was an RF on the roof, and considering the gentlemen that owned the vehicle, I find this a bit incongruous.

Still a really nice vehicle except for a couple of strange choices IMHO.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

bakerhillpins

Im not too sure it was a GL when Y&Y owned it. If you look at the auction pics where the magazine article is displayed it clearly shows the car without the GL 01 on the side. No roof shots and I of course can't make out the text of the article. I wonder if the current owner applied the decals in a lame attempt to get more $$ for it?  :scratchchin:  :shruggy:

Personally its hideous, but to each his own. I just hate it when I see a vehicle I adore so much dressed so badly.  :RantExplode:

Probably so. Easy fix though, and the same goes for the rest of it. At least it looks straight as far as body and such.

Looks like the stock gauges to me. What a tool.
That interior is UGLY!
You would need practically a whole new interior less the dash.
