Speedometer problem

My speedometer is reading about 5-7 o' clock depending on how fast im going to adjust it would it be the gear or an in dash problem, its on the 150 SE gauges if that makes a difference, thanks for any help

You mean, the 'speedo hand only moves in that range, from 5 to 7 'o clock?

yea 5 o'clock at 0 MPH and it moves towards 7 o'clock at a faster speed

The needle is pulled back to zero by a spring, most likely it's broken or the needle drum is bound up internally.
