I will keep this short.  I have had my 70 for 3 years now.  It was not built by me but a guy I traded '70 V-code bee for.  I wanted a FAST car.  Well.  I know have a good idea of what I want to do with my 69.  Keep in mind as anyone over the years things had come up that HAD to be a priority.  So, here she is, I did list it before, moparts and, racing junk,  NO I WILL NOT GIVE THE thing away it is sitting nicely tucked in my shop.  I would consider trades too.

THOUGHS.  HERE are a few photos.  Keep in mind, it is an ALLL TUBE CHASSIS chrome-moly, Dana, 4-link, fuel cell, I DO Not want to sell the fenders with the car as they are MINT.  I did take the RACING front end off the car.  But have the Lower A-arms.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.

hey

the slap was just for fun. this is a tuff car to put a value on . it's built for a select few that are serious about racing or pro street . i know that it's got alot of goodies . that chrome moly stuff is expensive . Dana rear, and a lot of fab work .
plus it's not the best time to be selling something like this . maybe if you held on to it  for a while till the economy gets a little better , you'll do alright  but rite now all muscle cars sales are hurting. Rene

Haha no worries.  I just hate seeing it sit, sit and sit somemore,  she and I have talked and she would love to stretch her legs, but I reminder her she did not have a motor or tranny, as of yet.  I know it is not the best time to sell.  I do look at it this way.... she is paid for so it can sit.  I really just would like to get the 69 going and use the funds there. but,  I am now without ANY car payments and paying off my business loan in a couple of months......SO MAYBE I CAN THROW A 440 in her and  :drive: :drive: :drive:  and then see one of these guys  :patrol: :shruggy: :D

I wouldn't mind building a Pro Street ride....

To be frank I would not pay allot for your Charger, its still a huge project. The chassis is about the only thing thats ready, AND I'm shore Id find something in the chassis build that I don't like about it and would have it changed...

I'm sorry and I am NOT trashing down on your ride... It is a race car and there is a limited market for it, even smaller cause its a project. Depending on what parts you already bought for it, INCLUDING the front fenders.. Not knowing exactly what stuff comes with the ride, only going on what I see in the posted pictures, I would pay something like 8000-8500$$$

Why to people think this is and insult.  I think that would be fair for what is showin,  I do have a lot of parts to go with it.  Ron Davis racing Rad. Remote water pump, Tubs and sheet metal for the rear, fuel cell with TWO electric fuel pumps,  on an on.  Now the fenders, I would not want trashed I do have a less than perfect set if I would those would go with.

Anyway.  Just trying to figure this out.  I want to really get rolling on my 69, I have LONG list of things for that one.

BTW, I can say I dont think you would find much wrong with the chassis, the back half is an alston chassis works, rest being chrome-moly, I think you would LOVE the car from what I have seen you post.

Thanks TOM

I think the GM wheels on the front kill the price. Maybe only $50 for it with them on there.    :2thumbs:

Is the chassis certified? What shocks are on it? What front rack? Those appear to be Wilwood or Strange front brakes correct? Rearend setup? Custom 4-link or someone's kit?

Ohhhh boy, :rotz:  If you read the first post of MINE, I sold the front off the car, meaing the rack, and the STRANGE RACING COIL OVERS....... as they were not going to work on the STREET..... I was going to run a "street rod" front from Art Morrison chassis.  Same type but heavier for street use.  The rear is a CHASSIS is a BACK HALF from CHRIS ALSTON chassis works.  4-LINK, The rear has 4:56 gear with SPOOL and Wilwood DISC on the back, THE RACK, was a pinto rack and I may order and replace that at this time.

THE CHASSIS at this time is NOT certed. BUT, I have thought of doing this as I may add another bar for chassis stiffening anyway.

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

When you said "racing front" I was thinking it had a one piece fiberglass front clip. Didn't even occur to me that you were talking about the front rack and suspension. My bad...

Anyway heres my take for what its worth. I'm looking at it from a drag racer's perspective. It needs ALOT of work for either a pro-street or a racing application. The car has a GOOD rear setup (Alston 4-link, 4:56 spool and I'm assuming a Dana housing). To build a drag car, most of the difficult stuff is done. If the chassis is all chrome-moly, theres prolly $10K-12K worth of tubing alone there. However, not being certified takes some of the value away. You do have most of the extras needed to complete the car tho. So, assuming I were going to buy the car and all the parts, save for the front fenders, I would estimate the car somewhere in the $8K-10K range. If the chassis was certified I'd say more like the $12K-14K range. But thats just my :Twocents:...

i have no clue as to WIW. but I'd suggest pics of the car as it sits currently plus pics of the parts and you'd get more accurate opinions...
