Carter Thunder AVS Carb - how to hook up throttle cable?

Hey Guys,

I have a 800 cfm Carter Thunder AVS carb on my 69 Charger 440, and when I hook up the stock throttle cable, it pulls it too far forward.

Comparing to a stock carb, the cable mount is located higher and forward of the stock location.

Is there some kind of conversion kit for this carb to run a stock cable? Any ideas on what to do?

Yep, that's what I did. Wound up not running a choke, it's a little hard to start if it's sat for awhile, but otherwise no issues. The carb actually sits over the stock choke well. Thought about running a manual choke, but decided against it. Note, however, that if you do run a manual choke, the factory firewall pad clips are hollow. You can snip the end and run the cable through for less obvious look.
