My Charger gets out about once a week.  Being in San Diego there's no excuse to let something like that sit around collecting dust...

1st time this year! winter is over!

Pat, are you coming to Downs Park again on May 11th?  I'm planning on bringing the Charger down once again.
I did had my 69 Malibu out a couple weeks ago.  The Charger is sitting up in the air right now waiting for the rear to go back in.  I had it upgraded from a 2.76 peg leg to a 3.91 posi.  My 70 SS has been sitting since October.  I am having a Denny's Driveshaft made for it so hopefully the vibration over 65 MPH stops.  I should have that and the rear for the Charger back this Saturday  :icon_smile_cool:.

Tom, Sound like you've been busy this winter with all your cars! That's the one good thing about winters in the north, we have the down time to get to some projects. I will see you at the Downs Park show in May. :yesnod: I hope you have a posi weekend!

usually mine sits until may,but since we are down to one car besides the charger ive been driving it for a couple weeks, its a 3 mile drive to work,so unless its snowing im driving, not the best way to get her out early but it beats walking! shitty thing is getting 8 miles per gallon and just getting heat when i pull in the parking lot,but it is a quick ride! :yesnod:

Got the 73 out a couple days ago only to wipe a rod bearing, i think.  :brickwall: Shut her down and am now pulling the 440.  I wanted to clean and paint the engine compartment any way. :shruggy:

Well, I have a few rust holes to fix in the trunk pan--not enough in my mind to warrant replacement--put the new Goodmark gas tank in it, replace the 24 year old tires on it and throw on some insurance and I am there.  I am shooting for about June.....
Do I have the last, operational Popcar Spacemobile?

Not yet, but I have fired it up and let it run for a good 20 minutes once a month since November :2thumbs:  It still fires with a couple pumps on the pedal and a second or two to turn over   The weather is slowly picking up around here (MA), and I hope to have plates back on it and insurance again in May if I'm lucky.  My insurance co wants an extra $1000 a year for minimal coverage on it, so you can understand why I turn the plates in for 6 months out of a year.  I'm not 25 yet so no Hagerty, and Grundy will insure it but I have a younger brother who has a license and no primary vehicle, and they won't insure my car until all drivers in the household have primary vehicles :brickwall:  So I'm stuck with regular insurance rates. :eek2:

BTW where does everyone live?
