72 Rallye Code

I was wondering how you for sure you have a rallye package if you don't have the broadcast sheet.I have sanded the car down to bare metal and the rallye doors and bulgehood all have the same bright red that the fendertag decode to.The fender tag says it has a sport trim package,i also tracked down the orginal front fenders which were also red,somebody had put 73 fenders on it.ASo do you assume that it is?Thanks

72 Rallye chargers had all these: 2 sway bars, bulge hood, louvered doors, r/t type black taillights, rallye gauge cluster, black front grills or hideaway headlights.  If your call has all of these, I'd say it's probably a rallye. Of course , anyone could add these to a non rallye car...

I'm pretty sure the topic came up in greater detail once in the general discussion area.  I don't recall the title of the thread so it may take some searching.
