How many have reupholstered their own seats?

What are those small pieces of metal that wrap around the spring and the frame work of the seat? These are bands that are crimped and hold things together much tighter than hog rings.

I don't recall any crimped bands holding my springs to the seat frame.  There were some holding portions of the springs together to give them some stability.

They are what the factory uses to attach the springs to the border wire.
And this one is also used from the factory.
