afer 8 to 9years of the stock avs in my 69 charger  r/t  /440 I'm bored with the performance  and looking to upgrade and wake this 440 up.I have the MP dual plane intake, 474 lift MP cam, stock exhuast manifolds. I really want a carb that does all that and is easy " to set it and forget it".I'm not a racer just  aguy that like to cruise it around.I'm thinking edelbrock 750 because it should be easy to change over from the avs with minimal hassels. thanks Keith

A 750 CFM unit would be a good choice...

What is the rest of the build ;

stall speed ? Axle ratio ?

Ron, It is a MP mild converter I think  its 2800.(I don't have all my recipts and part#'s in front of me). the axel ratio is 3:55.

Keith, with a little stall and gear it can benefit from a double pumper carb.  :icon_smile_big:

The Profrom street 750 dp'er would be my choice for that combo :

You'll need a throttle adapter :

And a dual feed fuel line...several options here. If you're into the stock look there is a company that makes a pretty slick "stock looking" dual feed line....or you can go with a chrome or braided setup....your choice.  :yesnod:

The MP274 cam has some overlap and duration which requires a carb that has a better than stock fuel curve (more agressive) and these carbs get the job done with minimal hassle. On a build like yours this will be a bolt on ; check the float level, adjust the idle mixture, idle speed and start burning rubber.  :icon_smile_cool:
