My e brake assembly is missing the clip or grommet that keeps the return spring from coming forward and out through the hole in the bracket.  The piece is shown on the top end of the spring in the yellow circle in the attached picture. Is this clip/grommet available anywhere? Anyone have a picture of it?

Thanks....Kevin

I think you can actually get that through Chrysler yet.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Will it go on without having to disconnect the release shaft?

Dont quote me, but I think it has a slit in it so you can just slide the spring back and slip it in.

My parts catalog shows a figure number 4-25-10 with a part number of 2467 571. Is that it?

Just 6T9 CHGR

Yes that should be it....I sort of bought one from Jack at http://www.cjmotorparts.com/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/ last year....

When I say sort of I mean that I paid the $5 he asked for it, he sent it out, a plain envelope came to my house but with no grommet in it.....it tore out & got lost.

Not Jacks' fault in any way though.  He normally doesn't ship anything through the mail....he only uses UPS and they have a minimum shipping charge of $8....I asked him to "throw it in in envelope"  He did & told me he wouldn't guarantee it.....I took a chance & lost....for now my wire-ty is holding up just fine ;)
