I need new engine mounts. Does anyone know what do get and what NOT to get?

Is anchor any good? Or Schumacher?

Thats the only brands that I have heard of.

Does summitracing carry any good mounts?

1969 Charger with a 440 block. ( Im going to stroke the engine so the engine mount has to be GOOD)

You have three options.  One is the Schumacher mount.  Second is the mount offered from 440 Source by Dynatech.  Third is buying the standard mount from either Chrysler or 440 Source (they sell them too) and drilling a couple of holes through them and putting bolts in them to keep torque from pulling the rubber apart.  This is only necessary on the drivers side as the passenger side is in compression when you apply throttle to the engine.  Do a search to find pictures of the bolt method on the forum.

The ones you mentioned are all good mounts.  If you buy standard mounts I suggest drilling the drivers side and bolting through as  Chatt69chgr said.

Do a search on here and look for the motor mount fix. The hardened bolts keep the torque of your motor in check with the frame but still allow the vibrations to be dampened. This works quite well and is cheaper to do yourself than to buy it done.

:yesnod:            I did mine with the two bolts and man what a difference.   Make shure you check your tranny mount too.  :yesnod:
