What's a good ignition system for use on a 383 without having to bolt a big box to my inner fender?

I've put the Petronix units on a '64 Vette and a '68 Charger, and each time they worked fine.

I bought one of those RTR Pro-comp distributors from Mancinis for about $80 and so far its been fine. The "box" is built onto the side of it and it need nothing but 12 volts, no ECU, ballast resistor or extra wiring, only down side is the plug wire connectins are male HEI type so you'll need to change the ends on yours, good luck.
