Im sure you guys seen this lame commercial by chrysler of some lady drawing on the board on the 08 'charger" "
"you talk, we listen" I raise  on that one. That's all I have to say.

 Being that women are who new cars are the marketing target of today , I believe they did listen to that woman .

No one criticizes the new "Charger"......there is no way anyone would ever say that today's Dodge "Charger" is lame..

The "Charger" is called a "Charger" so it must be great - no way would anyone try to imply that the new "Charger" is not a real Charger.....

It was a sarcastic post referring to the " "'s that many on the board (including me) use to reference today's "Charger" - by calling it by name yet still showing our protest to the vehicle.

By posting "Charger" - instead of Charger - you are basically taking the piss out of the new vehicle, it's lackluster design, and those who continue to stick up for it.

therefore - if you write....

Don't criticize the 2008 Dodge "Charger", it's a fine vehicle.

...it is a hidden rib shot in a sentence that makes one think you are taking a neutral stance.

Creed actually said the two door retro market was dead, not profitable.

Couple years later we have a new retro 2 door Challenger and dealer markups of $20,000 over MSRP to combat the buyer interest.

Thanks, but no. This is my only complaint right now, at least let me have that. Besides, I'm of the opinion that if we keep the pressure on they'll eventually cave in and make things right. You don't see the "Impeach Bush" or the anti-war people giving up do you? And if I stopped complaining about Chrysler's egregious error they might start thinking I'm ok with a four door Magnum sedan being called "Charger" and we certainly can't have that. All they have to do to make things right is make up a bunch of "Enforcer" emblems and start putting them on the cars instead of the "Charger" emblems. That's what I would do if I were in charge of Chrysler. In fact I'd do a recall on the "Charger" for the sole purpose of replacing the emblems on all of them.
