right as i was parking yesterday i heard a loud pop and my oil preasure went to zero, then i looked and noticed oil spewing all over my floorboard. the hose literally exploded. but my oil preasure was only around 45 because it was at idle and warm. is it just bad tubing or could my preasure have sky rocketed for a second and i just didnt notice? the tube was brand new from pep boys haha

Chryco Psycho

probably a flaw in the tubing or it rubbed on the firewall , use copper tubing not plastic & a grommet through the firewall

Not really sure what happened, title fuel pressure hose and its oil lol Sounds like the line on your oil pressure gauge broke. Its probably just cheap tubing or something failed. Thats why i went electric with my gauges....no coolant, hot oil, anything coming into my interior.

lol my bad i dont know why i labeled it fuel, i meant oil. and im thinking of going electric also.

Death, that would be the smart thing to do. Been there and done that, make a heck of a mess.
