G01 Elec. R Win Defog for 1971 charger?     

H31 Rear Window Defogger for 1971 charger

I was looking at 71 part numbers on www.71superbee.com and the part number came up for the rear window defroster but it wasn't available untill 1974, so I was just wondering why it was there. Why does the website say it was available in 1971?

G01 Code

This is on line 7 of the  build sheet, GLass-Mirrors, the first block with no sub heading. (I think after '71 a heading was added). The G01 code is used on all model years when the optional heated backlite was selected.
