carb to inlet

hey guys,hows it goin,my problem is i have '68 rt with an original carter avs series carb.is there just a gasket between the inlet manifold and carburettor or is there spose to be some kind of spacer or heat sink ,any help would be appreciated :cheers:ray...

well i got one in a carter rebuild kit , but i did not have one on mine when i took the AVS off to rebuild it  years a go . but  the second owner had been playing there before ,  seen a few chargers with them though    ...........
