Please post any pictures of Silver Chargers or give your thoughts to the color

I think I have decided to paint my 70 Charger a silver metallic with black vinyl top and interior.  I would like to see any pictures that are available to make sure I am not making a mistake.  If you have seen a charger in silver, I would be curious of your thoughts on how the color looked on the car.  I am a little concerned that a light colored car will make the already long vehicle seem longer instead of the dark colors that people say makes cars seem a little smaller.

Please help me.  I was not aware that choosing a color for my car would be more difficult than naming my 3 children.......does that say something about my love of my Charger?????  My wife is beside herself on my angst in making this decision.......

looks awesome if you have a black vinyl top. all silver might be a bit much.

There are many things to consider about which color to choose. First one is if it is the original color and do you want to keep it original. Second one is if YOU like it. Third, was this color an option for the year car you have. Don't consider anyone else's opinion too much. Gerry
I used to own a mopar because it was different, but now I know better.

I was looking at this amazing bmw paintjob today outside my shop...liquid silver with just a hint of a purple overlay. Would look amazing on a Charger's curves.

If you are not going 100% correct A4 silver, you may want to look at some Mercedes-Benz silver cars.  Silver has been a big color for Mercedes in their models over many, many years.  My parents have a silver 2000 C280 and the factory paint job on the car is very nice.  It is a real nice looking silver.  Everytime I see the car I think the color would look good on a musclecar especially if you are not doing a totally stock type resto.

My Dad had a silver & white '68 back in the day.  We don't have any pictures of it but a couple Christmas' ago I redid a 1/18 scale Bullit Charger to look like his old one.  Here is a link to the pics.
