I thought this a little interesting. So, if Craig doesn't like what is said then he'll just throw you out, and that will teach you. I guess he's not worried about bad press, maybe because he's a little egotistic.

From the Hatfield and McCoy department comes news from Deep Dish, our source on the inside. The story begins with Craig Jackson of Barrett-Jackson Auction fame. The plot gets soupier with the entry of editor Keith Martin of Sports Car Market, the premiere magazine of the automobile auction world. Seems Keith penned a riff focusing in on the coming burst of the muscle car bubble which got Jackson teeth-gnashing Yosemite Sam-style pissed off. Jackson was evidently blinded by this same anger when he had Martin escorted off the Barrett-Jackson Auction grounds this morning. Martin was permanently banned to boot. We say blinded for what Jackson didn't know was that Martin was at the auction to gather and gawk not only for Sports Car Market, but also some outfit that calls itself the New York Times. – Mike Bumbeck

That's last year's news.  The bubble doesn't look to be bursting this year.  ;)

Snooter, heard over at the Boss302 forum that you think Boss 302's are going to be only 10 cents on the dollar. Looks like they are up in value like most Fords this year. I am a big Mopar fan and owner and am amazed that for some reason you are on all the different forums bashing all sorts of people. Looking at the amount of posts, you are new to many of the forums and most of us would rather see you gone. Take a hike dude. Guys, Snooter is a loser!

come on guys - everyone is entitled to their own opinions....       lets not let this evolve into a pissing contest

yea i did..whats that have to do on a charger forum...my first love...i also said on another forum about quality build of 70 and 71 challengers when new (it was not that great)....your just sore because the muscle car bubble may burst and you have 60 grnd tied up in a car that may be worth 10 grand tomorrow....there have been postings on here as well regarding what may occur with muscle car prices...i was aware of the tactics last year regarding craig jackson and yet you support him for having shill bidders..now tell me how that is helping your fellow enthusiast by supporting such unethical activity

Most of the prices are down from two years ago. The AAR cuda's and Packards seem to be doing good. Some of the cars are bringing 75% of what they were two years ago.

I agree Snooter . The only ones who get upset with the the value dropping statements are the guys who have the most to lose . When the fad to own a Musclecar is over and the bottom drops out , then maybe the true car guys will get a break .

Go ahead and let the value drop, I'll be waiting to buy some.

I think over seas buyers are going to be the issue if the bubble does pop.  With a weak dollar you are going to see new money from China, India and the EU come in and just grab up everything they can.

90K car drops in price to 75K thats only 50K to an over seas buyer thanks to WalMart et all.

They are going to gobbel them up fast.

Do you guys understand economics? Sure the prices of our cars are coming down, so are the prices of our homes. The economy is bad right now. We are heading for some bad times, actually we are in them right now. It will all turn around, it always does.

I really don't think we will see an across the board huge drop in classic/muscle vehicle values. They will price adjust for the economy we are in, then re-adjust when it gets better.

Just weather the storm guys, it's happened before and will happen in the future. This isn't the first time I have seen this. Maybe for some of you it is. What goes down must come up again. Consider this a buying opportunity. Just get out your crystal ball and try to see when we are at the bottom, then buy.

We should all be buying real estate right now. Thats where the money will be made when we do pull out of this.

Its a repeat of the late 80's boom and early 90's correction. I'd love to go back to say 91 and buy a dozen hemi and 6 pack cars. What would they be worth now?

(Paul G, I agree with you)  SNOOTER, I never said that I support shill bidders,  what are you talking about! I also do not care about values dropping because everything runs in cycles and I just thought you were saying things that did not make any sense. I think your first love is any forum that lets you post before they give you the boot. I own Mopars and Fords and would never post anything (unlike you) that I do not know anything about.
