Yep - lots of quality Mopars on the dockett today... real curious to see what the C500 HEMI goes for (mainly to gauge what the one tomorrow will/should sell for)...  I'd love to have that '70 challenger 440-6pk car!

Some didn't do too bad on purchasing that HEMI 500 for $110K. That is right in the neighborhood I'd figure for that car, now interested to see what the F8 green car will bring.

The guy that bought my V code Challenger sold a Rambler there. He said it went on the block during a commercial. It sold just before the '84 Camaro. Maybe in a few years we'll see the Challenger go through.

Yup, but I had about 15K in the car so I guess it was almost half mine.

Where's the Oklahoma Belvedere?  I thought it was going across the block.  Did it fall apart in transit?  ;)

If he has the 1/25 scale Model of the car with him (He's supposed to!) I built the car for him.

The Mopar values appear to be lower across the board (the T5 500 Hemi went for $110K). I think its a combo of market correction and the reality that the economy is not doing well lowering the prices.

Every year there is a different "hot" car, this seems to be a Mustang year, seems kind of weird to ME that it generally seems to be whoever the main sponsor of the show is, a couple years Mopars went CRAZY, and the show was sponsored by Chrysler, The Mustangs have gone crazy and Ford is the main sponsor.

I would have to say that the $165K for the F8 HEMI 500 is right in the ball park of what I had the car figured for. Now the T5 car at $110K was a little lower than what I was thinking for the car. I don't think either one of them was all that low compared to the rest of the market lately.

It cracks me up to see how they spend 15 minutes trying to sell the General Lee, but then have a nice looking 70 Shelby 500 go accross the block in 20 seconds. Not that I care about a Mustang as much a Mopar, but they need to do without all the stupid stunts and just sell cars.

The Mopar values appear to be lower across the board (the T5 500 Hemi went for $110K). I think its a combo of market correction and the reality that the economy is not doing well lowering the prices.

Good news for the enthusiast.  Bad news for the *cough cough* investor.

I say all the power to the current trends. I never considered re-sale value when I bought my '69 Charger about 3 years ago.

Up until recently I never thought I would again be optimistic about getting another '69 or a '68 Charger (which I would love to own a '68). Now, to see driver projects on ebay struggling at $15000...

Mopar prices seem down, but the prices of the E-bodies, except the AAR Cudas, are really taking a dump.
