I am interested in finding out what the "new" 1984 white Z-28 305 H.O. with 7 miles will bring.  It has yet to be titled by the new owner after buying it from the dealership six months ago.  Yes, I know it is a Camaro, but I have two just like it (with alot more miles unfortunately)......

Ya, me too. $27,500

My buddies '71 Cobra Torino did real well considering what he paid.  Maybe he'll come back and buy my Chally now.  He offered to take it down there for me.  :scratchchin:
Another buddy took a bath on that turquoise '68 Charger that Pete posted.

Hey Mike
I did see that Torino tonight, sweet looking 71, a friend of mine had one a long time ago, I think
they are a great looking car, boy Tom has had a ton of cars   ;D  boy what a car.......

I sure thought that turquoise '68 Charger would go for more   :shruggy:  maybe if the interior
was all stock it might have gone for more. I have never seen that car before, but the body and
paint work looking worth 20k just for that  :yesnod:  I love that color as you know   :2thumbs:

I finally get to watch it...   and I saw a triple green 68 X 440/auto go for $52K IIRC and a 64 Plymouth 426W/4 speed go for $69K.

Then I fell asleep on the couch.

Three little words. TIVO TIVO TIVO. Turns a 5 hour broadcast into about 1 1/2 hours depending on how many makes and models that you "just have to know" what they sold for.

:iagree: :iagree: :iagree:

That's exactly what I do. My time is limited, & I just can't sit thru another 302 clone Mustang, Corvette, T-Bird, '57 Chevy, or some cookie-cutter '32 Ford street rod. Not that I don't like those cars, but they are all too common on BJ. Cutting out the frequent commercials also helps. I watched Tuesday's broadcast in about 2 hours, & I'll watch yesterday's action this afternoon. I'm really looking forward to seeing what some of the older movie/TV show cars are gonna bring.

I watch it every year. I watched it last night too. I cant believe some of the crap they're selling on there now. I saw a Honda Civic, an armored truck and a few other weird/ugly cars go up for sale. :rotz:

Bronze, most of those weird/ugly cars are from the Monster Garage series TV show, with Jesse James. Guess you have some more Googling to do.

I was surprised to see how little those Monster vehicles were bringing, but most of them are not street legal or registerable, so what do you do with them?  :shruggy:

These are 3 of the cars I hope they show tonight.

The Challenger is a '73 survivor 340 car, and supposedly was the only one ever built as black with blue interior.

The '71 Mach 1 is 1 of 531 built with a 429 engine. It is also a 4spd car. I'd LOVE to own this one :yesnod: :drool5:

And the AMX is a '74 with a 401 and a 4spd. Another car i's LOVE to own  :drool5: :drool5:

I saw the old 60's TV show Batmobile in line with other cars. Is that going up for sale?

Exactly! I want more variety! Most of the cars I see are Corvettes and '57 Chevs

Hey Dan.    I wasn't real impressed with the power of the Torino after the ride he took me for.  He had just changed carbs and the performance actually dropped he said.  Of course we had just went for a ride in his Saleen Mustang so anything else just didn't compare.  My family had a standard Torino years ago.  First new car we had, had it for two weeks and my Dad totaled it out drinking one night.  Yeah, I think they're a cool lookin' ride too, especially with the Shaker.

The guy selling the turquoise Charger (Larry Mathews) was the guy who sold Tom's Hemi Cuda down there couple years ago for $475k.  :o  Larry sold one of the pilot '70 Hemi Cudas the year before.  He's pretty low keyed this year.

I'm anxious to see what Tom's RR goes for.  Resale red and a 4 gear, should do good.  He de-chromed it, there were steelbraids everywhere in the engine bay.  Even the plug wires.  The fender tag, torsion bars were even chromed.  It was local from the original owner.

TOO MUCH!!! The engine was modified... and had a lot of wrong stuff.  It may have been the original paint...but not a true survivor.

bzabodyn

I agree with the TIVO/DVR comment - I have everything set to record and can move right through all the crap they put on there now... lots of surprises, but pretty strong so far for the type/quality of cars going through the block so far... definitely can't wait to see more Mopars though...

It does not suprise me on the 71 Mach 1 bringing good $.  The 71-3 Mustangs have been looked at as the leftovers of the classic Mustang generation for a long time.  It had the biggest engine that year with the 4-speed (eventhough it was not the fastest stock Mustang that year).  Odd exterior combo with the blue with silver stripes, but there was one just like it in central Nebraska years ago (maybe this was that car?)......
