I forgot it started last night already. I did catch some of it though. Had a nice Black edition '80 T/A that was fully loaded and had 7,900 original miles on it. Only a 301 car though. There was also a nice Coronat R/T. I didn't see it though. Starts at 6pm Central time again tonight and tomarrow. Then it is on for 10 hours from 1pm central on Friday and Saturday. And four hours on Sunday.

I enjoy watching it every year.

I've been fortunate enough to have been a few times and it really is cool to see in person.

So many folks say the market is down -  :scratchchin:

I don't have cable or satellite so I don't get to watch it :'(  If anyone sees a 2nd gen Charger go through the blocks, chime in here and let us know what they're going for.

This '68 is the only one scheduled for today. If I catch it, I will post on it.

Yep, I am recording it via VHS tapes (just like I have done the past five years).  I tried to hookup my PCTV device so that I could save it to my computer harddrive (then burn them into DVDs), but the software supplied failed to reconize the device.  I have learned that this was a major fault with it and there are programs that will fix it, but I am too busy this week to mess with that and I am happy with the taped version (I can convert those to DVDs later).  John Shnider's (sic) General Lee will be auctioned at the prime time slot.  There are a few second gen chargers there, but I bet they will fall within the commercial timing (based upon last years show and the Ford sponsoring).  I am shocked the black turbo trans-am went so high (I know where an example is hiding that has about 5,000 less miles than that one).  They used to be common in the midwest, but I guess most were rode hard, put away wet.  I got a good laugh on the Sewer Sucker and the Jessie Jame's Mustang convertible lawn mower ($8,000 and $7,300 respectively).  Bet the owners thought they would bring much more at B-J.  Tried playing the speedtv game, but kept underbidding by 20% on most of them........................

I got my Computer all configured to record and then I'll burn then to disk later for my uncle who dosn't have Sat or Cable.  Last year I did this and ended up with 15 or so DVDs. I'm not looking forward to all of the editing out of commercials. I'm also recording on my DVR in case the computer reboots or something, but it gets the jitters from time to time which is really annoying when the gavel drops and the final price is unreadable.

The Monster Garage things were neat to see go. I guess the show is dead for sure since I think a lot of them were there car show vehicles. I know JJ was tired of the show crap long ago.

There were a few really neat cars that went for cheep. Makes me wish I was there with a pocket full of money.

As for the Trans-AM I think a bunch of people are on some kind of "Smokey and the Bandit" kick lately even though the car was a DOG compared to other high performance cars.

I'm recording it for Thursday and Friday. I get together with a good friend for Saturday....beer, pizza. BJ, and lots of yelling at the TV.... :2thumbs:

Three little words. TIVO TIVO TIVO. Turns a 5 hour broadcast into about 1 1/2 hours depending on how many makes and models that you "just have to know" what they sold for.

Wish I was. I have no plans to buy anything but I did get a bidders pass just in case.  The open bar might addle my brain. :icon_smile_big:

I am watching it right now.  Try out the Fantasy Bid on speedtv.com.  You could win a prize if you are the best guesser.

I find that sometimes they'll have it in the lobby bar.

Earlier around 6:30 ish there was a 68 Charger 440R/T clone that was a metallic blue and looked like a great resto...only sold for $28,000.  Originally had a 318 but that was about it.  The rest of the car was flawless.  I don't see why it sold for so low.  Still love the cars and ole Steve Mangante...that dude is an encyclopedia when it comes to any ride.

My buddies '71 Cobra Torino did real well considering what he paid.  Maybe he'll come back and buy my Chally now.  He offered to take it down there for me.  :scratchchin:
Another buddy took a bath on that turquoise '68 Charger that Pete posted.

I watch it every year. I watched it last night too. I cant believe some of the crap they're selling on there now. I saw a Honda Civic, an armored truck and a few other weird/ugly cars go up for sale. :rotz:

I am interested in finding out what the "new" 1984 white Z-28 305 H.O. with 7 miles will bring.  It has yet to be titled by the new owner after buying it from the dealership six months ago.  Yes, I know it is a Camaro, but I have two just like it (with alot more miles unfortunately)......
