Kinda like the one year only PONTIAC grill of '69.....Chrysler realized their MISTAKE and went back to a CLEAN grill for '70.... :nana: :icon_smile_big:

All in fun......

Notice that the '69 center piece design was used on the E-Body Barracuda for four of the five years...  :nana:

Yep !! because they ran out of ideas  :nana: :smilielol:

since they are listed on their website, have to assume they are a regular available item now.  I just wish they weren't so expensive, even if they are nice looking.  Used ones are going for 250 a pair, these are 400 a pair just in case you were looking to find the prices. 399.99 a pair.  Don't suppose we can get a discount can we?   I have my originals, but they are badly pitted, and for some reason warped so they don't fit on the tail light correctly, and stick out more than they should on one side.  I may have to remove them and reinstall just to see if I can get a better fit.  But I still need new pretty chrome ones....sigh, looks like another 400 bucks is going out the door.

Update.

Just talked to Mike at B/E&A.  Doesn't have these bezels in stock and not going to get any more.  Don't know why and don't know why they are still on the website..  Guess I'll check CI or see if I can get mine re chromed.

Mopar Nut

Good luck with CI, they told me it's going to be years before the chrome bezels come out.

Yeah, I saw "back ordered".  But the website says they are taking preorders. :shruggy:

I was  a little desperate so decided to take a longer look at mine.  Got out a polishing wheel on my Dremel tool and they came out surprisingly good.  The chrome still has some pitting, but all the places that I thought were missing chrome turned out to be 50 years of hardened up crud!  Most importantly, the little pegs on the back fit my lenses exactly.  I do need to think about an ear or two broken off but I'm going to use what I got.

wasnt PG Classics repro'ing these?

Just checked their website.  They do list them but I would call them to make sure they are in stock.  Same part # and word-for-word description.  I would guess they come from B/E&A.  Anyway, my existing ones are going to work.
