That's some fancy shifting, is he double clutching every shift?  are all big rigs doublee clutched?  can't remember,   how the heck does that guy keep track of which shifting of which lever is for each gear, must be easy to miss a gear and then hard to try and figure how to get back in right gear, 
  I drove a KW a little, just 1-5 around the yard a lot, and once on highway, missed a gear pretty fast first time trying,
    Drove an old small scale dump truck for a roofing company with a 2 spd. rear and four speed main trans. (8 gears total, whatever that is called) , but that was easy, what that guy is doing looks hard,
what is the deal with that?  I am guessing, but is that a four speed rear and five speed main trans?  would that make it 20 gears total?

I used to drive a early 80s Mack with a twin stick. Always thought it was kinda neat having 5 backwards gears too. That looks like a International Loadstar from what I can tell. I drove one once. But the one I drove was a 5spd with a 2spd rear end (spliter) That guy did a lot more split shifting than he has too. He could of just did all his shifting with one stick once he got moving if he'd selected the right gear range. Then switched the gear ranges only if he needed to at higher rpms :yesnod:.

Seems like everyone loves trucks here! I grew up on Maximum Overdrive. I always loved the 84 Western Star in the movie. I used to go to the truck drags at Englishtown every year when I lived up North. does anyone know if Englishtown still has it?
