I been looking around for a clean 'beater' pickup for a while..this popped up for sale near my place...think I may buy it tonight.

real clean original paint in surprising good shape for a 37 year old Ford. Turns out its a 'rare' 'special edition' F250 Camper Special Explorer.Mechanicals are in real nice shape as well. and the price is definately right. has its original 73 blue and yellow plates as well. San Jose built California truck has like no rust issues at all. not even n the tool box.

Here you go Todd.

Look at the steady stream of coolant on the ground... :scope: I bet it didn't go much further before it needed a break & cool-down.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Yeah with the lower hood pieces missing the truck was probably having heating problems for sometime.   Like so many old trucks they were used and abused and not taken care of and worked til they died and that was it.

Here's a mate of mines favourite truck. It was his first truck back in the 80's and brought it back from a guy about 5 years ago and has done it up. Pretty cool a real top example and still get used but not often, even entered it in a local hotrod show.
