Need to replace the A/C switch cluster that controls heat, fan, defrost, etc. on my '68.  Will '69, '70,  model year's switch cluster work / fit my '68  ??  Will other Mopars from the same era work ?

There are many, many different numbers for this switch.  Hard to say exactly about what would and would not fit.  I looked at the one that Year One has in their catalog which is a Mopar Part and the number on it is 3895790.  They say it fits 69-71 B and 70-74 E.  Then I looked it up on MopartZ and they say that part number fits most 60-75's.  Should be available from the dealer for about $66 retail or $53 wholesale.  Also saw that Frederick Dodge had this style switch listed on EBAY.  Of course, they sanitized the part number in their picture and from experience, they won't tell you what it is over the phone.  But their price was something like $45----don't remember exactly.  They also listed what it was supposed to fit----I didn't write it down.  You might look this one up.  Might be worth trying.  Everybody else on EBAY were trying to rip you off for big bucks.

I bet others on here will know exact part numbers, etc.  I'd love to have a list of part numbers for this part that would interchange on our chargers (I'am particularly interested in the 69 myself).
