We made a little more progress today. We got a guy to come out and put the R/T stripe on for us.

Now the next step is to get a headliner made for it. We are taking it to a guy next Sunday for that. It's almost done! I'm getting really excited about actually driving it instead of looking at it.

Here are some pics for you all to enjoy.

Looking great!

Did he install the stripe dry? or with soapy water?  I prefer the dry method myself.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

He installed it dry. He said only amateurs use water.

I have never seen a person put the decals on dry. I just assumed you had to use water.

He was fast too. It only took him about 30 minutes.

Looking real nice, Justin.

Did you buy those padded door panels from this guy on Ebay?

I got them from Legendary about 1 1/2 years ago.

If I could ever find a nice day to take it someone to get a good pic I will. The weather is so sporadic around here. Plus I am only home on the weekends, so that makes it a little harder.

It took a 68 to make a 69 look so good! :icon_smile_big: Your car looks AWESOME!

Haha. Thanks.

I probably wouldn't have picked that color if you hadn't painted your car that color. It was what gave me the inspiration.
