I started in late November and I just buttoned it up yesterday.
Its a 318 .30 over with a Eagle 4" crank, forged KB stroker pistons, Scat forged rods, Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 600 carb.
Now I need to finish the tranny and detail the engine bay before dropping it back in.
I have no idea how much hp or torque it will have but I know that its gonna rev like a two stroke (lost over 8 lbs. off rotating assembly)

The downside is I used the stock heads. I spent a lot of time porting them so they should be good enough until I can better ones.

That was 5 years ago so I don't have any photo's of porting the heads. I bought everything separately (no kit), shopped around for the best prices.
It's still holding up to all my abuse, no problems since and still running those ported 318 heads although I have a set of Magnums all drilled for my intake, sitting on my work bench waiting for springs before I install them.

sounds good.  what trans and rear are u runnning.  what gears

1BAD68

A904 trans with a 742 rear and 3:55 gears

oh nice i was wondering if my 904 would handle the power.  what did u do to it if you did to beef it up.  my rear is still a factory 8 1/4

The only thing I didn't do myself to my car is the trans rebuild, but I asked them to make it strong (don't know if they did anything special or not)
The rear, I got a rebuild kit from Dr Diff and a set of gears and set it all up. Luckily it works great.

well i bet it runs like a scalded ape.  i am torn between a hipo 318 build or stroker 390
