(there was a lot of core shift on the intake manifold).  Holley 950 Ultra HP Carb.  Lifters are Isky Red Zones with the EZ Roll Upgrade.  TTI 2" headers with 3" exhaust.  Going in a 68 Charger R/T with 18 spline 4spd and Dana 60 with 3.54s.

Cam is a custom grind from Dan Costello.

Wize thanks much!  To give credit where credit is due, I used your book to put my motor build plan together and you sent me an email about cleaning up the SD!  I must of missed the top radius part, I will get on it thanks!

In addition Ron helped me out a lot with making smart decisions on my build.  Fireman is a great MOPAR motor oricle.  There is a lot of "Wize", "Fireman", "DRAM", and Dwayne in this build up!  Thank You All!

What is Streetwize's book you mention?  Is it a real book, what is it called, or are you talking about something else?

BLAM

I would PM Bobby about it.  He use to sell a pamphlet called "StreetWize Performance Manual for MOPAR Vehicles".  Very helpful info indeed!

It is indeed a real book and an excellent one at that.  :2thumbs:  I've read it cover to cover and enjoyed Streetwize's no nonsense, common sense approach to building BB Mopar power. I highly recommend it !

Ps. Bobby, nice seeing you post again

Ron,

Yeah I do, I got the tranny out and  :scratchchin: whether or not to throw the 4 speed in it.

I'm in the middle of dropping a 450 horse roller cam E-head 360 and a b body 4.10 8 3/4 in this thing right now

Wow....the Rocky Ride looks cool !  :icon_smile_cool: Talk about a short wheelbase ride !! I like the Hoosiers.....looks bad azz !  :2thumbs:

The 4spd would be cool in your 70 Charger but....with 700+ hp on tap it will be hard on parts.  :P  It would be a whole lot of fun though !  :boogie:

Any plans for a rollbar on the 70 ?

Streetwize

Well that's the catch-22. An original R/T 4 speed car I don't wwant to put a roll bar in it...I've already been kicked off so many track with so many cars after 1 sub 11.49 pass it's not funny anymore.

I never intended this motor for this car but I have too many irons i nthe fire for the 67-68 A body post I wanted to drop it in.

For me, this is the Perfect motor....the result of years of progressive development work with 500" strokers....it's the best I can build a normally aspirated 700hp motor while keeping it perfectly streetable.

Thanks Myrtle!...Hope you enjoy the manual and find it useful!!

A nice pair of rides you got there!! :2thumbs:

Drawing up plans for next motor....3.51" stroke, 2.20 journal long rod, roller cam 400 block.....should work out to ~422", always wanted to do a 7500 rpm short stroke big block for some reason....probably just do a set of EZ-1's if the airflow works out right. :scratchchin:
