69-70 as you know go in the valance panel .....the 68 b/u lights are between the 2 round tail lights. As for where they can be bought I think someone is coming out with them ,but i haven't seen them anywhere yet.

No luck with Layson's eh - try Jim's in NH - they'll have what you need.

Just came in from shop , I decided to weld in metal and fill it . Yea , yea , yea, I know it is not orig , but I deviated a little from stock . I also am going to delete the turn signals in hood . Is there still a turn signal indicator in my dash ??

I was only answering to the turn signal part, I can't comment on the other without seeing it.  :icon_smile_wink:

Come on , let me have it !!!!! :icon_smile_big:

You tryin' to pick a fight? I wouldn't weld the holes up if I were you. I would part the car out. :yesnod:

daytonalo

I think their ugly !! If the car was an orig car , no way would I do it .

Yea, they are kinda homely. That's one reason I like the '68s better -- can't hardly see them at all.

Ghoste

You do realize Larry, that once you finish this car and somebody sees it with the reverse light holes welded up that they are going to be obligated to point out to you that it's a piss poor way to do a clone.  They'll likely say things like, "if you aren't going to do it right, why do it at all?", or maybe they'll just make statements about how "it's all about the details".  You know, just kind of stand back and throw rocks at it for not being a perfect recreation.  :D

daytonalo

Maybe , but they might not have much to say after viewing my 800 hp 528 Ci hemi painted in Lamborghini three stage orange .

I know that i have a spare set somewhere in the garage, i haven't inspected them in a while though, always planned on using the best of the 4.  I'll look around and see if i can find them tomorrow.

Someone, somewhere will ALWAYS have something to say. I have noticed that people tend to look right over the top of major modifications and focus like a laser on the insignificant, though. Your common idiot probably won't know that big stroker from a 318, but will spot an incorrect fuel tube screw from a mile away.
