Ok,  so I am flipping by USA network or such.  And the end of the show was on.  I never looked real close.  That is not a ENDERLE bug or bird catcher hat on the motor.  Has the injector lines.  What gives.  That looked much like an aluminum special made buzzard catcher.  Now I do not know the dimentions as I could not get a good look.

What gives was that car actually fuel injected or just made to look that way?  IF it was real where did that Injector hat come from?

Some one tell me more.  I want to know if I could mod that to fit with my brainstorm EFI?

THANKS

MoparYoungGun

I'm pretty sure it wasn't actually fuel injected, it wasn't blown either. If I remember correctly, it was made to look that way by just simply bolting a blower lookalike underhood.

ramit

moparyounggun is correct, they just bolted it to the hood to make it look like it was blown.

That would make sense.... I knew that was not a real injector system in there.

THE CHARGER PUNK

i was wondering thesame thing back last year i had a article going on 100 posts on tfatf charger its an 8/71 blower with a fake fuel injector scoop. i still am not able to find a butterfly scoop that big that things huge the ones in real life are tiny compared to that monster-MATT

Ohhh I found the scoop they used.  It is a BUZZARD CATCHER in  DEMSION..... not a true enderle buzzard though.

Well one had to be real from the shots I saw.... But I do not know enough about the movie to know.

THE CHARGER PUNK

the one in the garage was a real blown car you can see that the hood is off and you can see the fuel injected ederle atop of a 392 hemi. the real car in barn looks way different then one that does wheelie-MATT

CFMopar

Ya the one they wrecked had the fake bolt on blower.

not to jack this thread or anything , but that reminds me of a car i saw a couple weeks ago at the weekly car show. it was a 32 coupe with a 350 and I was looking at the "Crazy 8's" and noticed that some weren't strait and leaning over each other. I looked a little closer and notices it was covering up to Edelbrock carbs  ::)
