My 340-70 has bronzebushings with a small oilhole in the lifterbores.
Engine is newly built, lifters are hydraulic. Is this normal and is it to recomend
to stay with hydraulic cam?  :shruggy:

As long as the small oil hole in the bushing is aligned with the groove in the lifter body when the lifter is on the heel of the cam lobe (lifter all the way down) the hydraulic lifters should be OK.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
